Things To Know About Translation Services in Serbia

Things To Know About Translation Services in Serbia

Court Certified Translations

Only certified translators may certify translated documents, also known as sworn translation. They will be listed on the roll of judicial experts, which is updated every year. It is their duty to execute sworn translation and to marry up an original document, for example, Memorandum of Association, in Serbian to their translation, for example into English.

It is obligatory that translators put, at the bottom of the certified or sworn translation, mention of their full name and the Court of Appeals under whose jurisdiction the official translator comes, as well as their signature and their stamp.

Translation and Localization

Translation means to communicate the meaning of the original text in a language into authentical text in another language. What separates good translation from profound one is its accuracy and credibility. This is especially meaningful when you are translating medical, legal or technical reports or documents. Therefore, here at AsstOffice, we insist on working only with college educated and court certified translators.

Language Localization refers to adapting a product or service into the language of any region or country to account for the difference, both, in the language and the culture. Now, more than ever, proper language localization is necessary and important, and it can include, not only written text but multimedia and video content, websites, software, video games and much more. The main goal of localization is to secure that your product or service looks and feels like it has been created specifically for the targeted region, country or even city.

Editing and Proofreading

Editing represents making changes and suggestions so that the overall quality of your writings improves and becomes more precise, sharp and consistent. It is the editor’s job to make the stated text clearer and more readable. Book editing and academic editing serve includes referencing style, formatting requirements and implementing literary element in a fiction or non-fiction book.

Proofreading consists of checking for any spelling, grammar, and typing mistakes and eliminating them if found. Through proofreading, the editor makes sure that your writing is consistent and properly formatted. Even when your text meets previously stated standards, it is the editor who can eliminate all the elements that can undermine the impact of the writing and credibility of the author.

Interpreting

Interpreting is one of the translational activities where translator facilitates spoken language communication between speakers of a different language. It is a translator duty to render spoken word into another spoken language while preserving the authenticity of the source language content.

There are several primary models of interpreting: consecutive, simultaneous and sight translation. Interpreters are included in various events, such as court hearings, notarization before a public notary, business meetings and more.
